On September 26th, the Baltimore Orioles will recognize Mesothelioma Awareness Day during their home game against the Toronto Blue Jays at the Camden Yards ballpark. As part of this initiative, on Wednesday, the jumbotron will guide the attendees to learn more about mesothelioma and to donate to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.
"On behalf of all the individuals and families we serve, the Meso Foundation is grateful and excited about the Orioles' support," said the executive director for the Meso Foundation, Mary Hesdorffer, Nurse Practitioner. "This kind of visibility helps us tremendously in advancing research and providing services to mesothelioma patients and families in need," she added.
